Ugo Vairo \u00e8 specialista in Cardiologia con perfezionamento in Cardiologia Pediatrica. Ha svolto la sua formazione presso importanti centri italiani e internazionali, tra cui l\u2019Ospedale Monaldi di Napoli, l\u2019Ospedale Pediatrico Bambino Ges\u00f9 di Roma, il Children\u2019s Hospital di Boston (USA) e l\u2019Ospedale Ram\u00f3n y Cajal di Madrid.<\/p><p>Nel corso della sua carriera ha ricoperto incarichi di rilievo come Cardiologo Pediatra Interventista presso l\u2019Ospedale Pediatrico Giovanni XXIII di Bari e l\u2019Ospedale San Carlo di Potenza. Dal 2009 al 2025 ha diretto l\u2019Unit\u00e0 Operativa Complessa di Cardiologia Pediatrica e Cardiopatie Congenite dell\u2019Ospedale Pediatrico Giovanni XXIII di Bari.<\/p><p>Il suo principale ambito di attivit\u00e0 \u00e8 l\u2019emodinamica interventistica delle cardiopatie congenite, che consente il trattamento mininvasivo di numerose malformazioni cardiache dalla nascita all\u2019et\u00e0 adulta.
